We also have a visual system, which includes 2 televisions, a VCR, a library of bizare video footage, strobes, lots of colored lights, and various other lights, props and decorations, that is available for use of other bands. We will require a PA system and about 12x8 feet of space for gear. Thanks for your interest.

MAY 24TH, 2003 - PORT HURON, MI
ADMISSION $5, 7 PM - 1am

TechniKILL - Heavy Industrial
Impalement - Metal
Broken - Metal

This was the Out of Kan'Tekst BBQ Jam at the Noruh Grotto. It was a really fun show. TechniKILL did it's best show to date and clips from the video will be up. Impalement and Broken both kicked serious ass. The were burgers and hot dogs BBQ'ed for $1 with lots of toppings. It went on a couple hours late due to waiting again on the PA's to arrive, but everything turned out good in the end. Idiology was supposed to play this show too, which was the ex guitarist for Hatework's band, but they broke up earlier in that week and no one was available for a last minute fill spot. Pics and videos from this show will be available shortly.

APRIL 20TH, 2003 - PORT HURON, MI
ADMISSION $3, 11 PM - 6 AM

God Is Stoned - Metal
D.I.G. - Metal
The Amazing Schwarzenegger - Arnold Dancecore
TechniKILL - Heavy Industrial
Utopia Project - Techno

Out of Kan'Tekst hosted this 3 day benefit show/tattoo party at Johnstone. I did sets for one day of it, but due to the planning, we didn't go on till around 4am for the Schwarzenegger and TechniKILL sets. When we did though, we rocked the fuck out to a still fairly decent crowd, and we got some live video footage out of it. It wasn't the greatest, but at 4am after getting everything ready since early the pervious morning, everyone was pretty damn tired. Some clips from the Amazing Schwarzenegger will be up from this show in the near future.

JULY 9TH, 2002 - DETROIT, MI
ADMISSION $5, 11 PM - 2 AM

999 Gods - Techno/Industrial/Folk
Rogue Angel Seven - Industrial/Metal

This show went on at the notorious goth club, Labyrinth, in Detroit's Cass Coridor (same building as City Club). We were opening for Rogue Angel Seven, another Detroit area industrial/metal group. Being it was a club, they provided the atmosphere, and were supposed to have a good house PA for it. We arrived there and set up, and their PA was incompatible to the worldwide standard 3/4 inch gold pro audio cables, and only had ports for microphone inputs. They did, however, have some old patch bays to run through. We hooked up through that, and everything worked great for sound check. A half an hour later the show was to begin, but for some reason, the patch bays weren't outputting signal. We checked all our equipment, and everything was working fine. Which would mean the problem should have been able to have been fixed at the sound board, which their staff were running. A different sound guy was running the board when the show started, than the one that initially set it up during sound check when everything was working. Because they didn't know what the hell they were doing, we had to run through Rogue Angel Seven's microphones and effects for the vocals. They have nice gear, but we have our own configurations on our effects board for each song, and just using a light reverb preset didn't sound right. The show finally went on like 20 minutes after we should have been playing, and because of that, the set got cut way shorter than it should have been. We spent a whole lot on making arrangements, transportation, and new audio cables, and the concert was a disaster, and no one got paid. This is the difference between playing a venue and renting a hall. When you rent a hall, you control the entire enviroment and sound, and have the potential to make the money back, so you can spend more money to do a better show. When you play a venue, you have to put up with the bullshit conditions, and lose money if they don't manage their bookings right. The next several shows, we will be hosting, due to we know how to set it up properly, with lights, video displays, and PA's that are newer than the 60's.

MARCH 9TH, 2002 - PORT HURON, MI
ADMISSION $5, 8 PM - 12 AM

Spring - Folk
Subterrianian Hooligans - Party Rock
999 Gods - Industrial/Folk
TechniKILL - Industrial
Shower Enema - Noize Metal
Alien Conspiracy Theory - Industrial

This event was held at the Noruh Grotto in Port Huron. It was one of the most original local shows ever for music, style, and design. The stage was set up in and around the kitchen, in the middle of the venue, instead of the sides, and we had video screens, fog machines and lots of lights. Members of the metal group, Hatework, were amongst the people in attendance. Prior to the show, during setups, we were playing a bunch of industrial music from groups such as Razed In Black, Funker Vogt, Bile, and Velvet Acid Christ. The show began with Spring, who did a really wonderful acoustic folk set, but it was cut short due to disrespect from various audience members that wanted to hear latest trend, which we weren't going to give them. Due to the sudden breakup of Nefiem, we replaced them with the party band, Subterrianian Hooligians. Then we did our 999 Gods and TechniKILL sets which were a lot of fun. We ran all the computer data, and keyboards from the kitchen window and had really cracked out videos on the TV displays. After TechniKILL, Shower Enema came on in some awesome costumes and covered everything in stage blood. They had a very visual set, which included lots of mooning of the audience and other various shock factors. After a short pause due to PA problems, Alien Conspiracy Theory ended the night with an industrial set. Overall the show was really fun for most of the bands and a real original experience for the audience members that gave the groups a chance, instead of blowing it off because it wasn't mainstream. We will be doing many more shows soon, as well as having the new 999 Gods and TechniKILL albums available for purchase.
