COMMENTS: mary, i had 3 eyebrow piercings in a row, linked together, but they surfaced (the skin holding them got so small that they almost fell through). i had it done again, farther back behind the scar tissue, and that surfaced also. the longest i had one curved bar in before surfacing was about 6 months. everyone is different though, and it depends on who does it and where exactly they do it. it has to be really far back so there is a whole lot of skin to grow through. i also know people that have had them for a couple years or more without surfacing, so it's a chance thing really. i'd say it's worth it if it's done good. mine looked awesome, but i don't think i'll get it done again. it's fun for a while.
